🎨✨ Our UIL Art students, led by Mr. Saenz, had an incredible learning experience this past Friday during their field trip to the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio! Students explored the inspiring world of art while viewing masterpieces from legendary artists such as Diego Rivera, Claude Monet, and Pablo Picasso. The experience continued at the Centro de Artes Gallery in Historic Market Square, where students engaged with the powerful exhibit “A Postmodernist Says ¿Que?” showcasing works from Contemporary Latino artists. Our Student Council had an amazing time visiting the United States Federal Courthouse Thursday! ⚖️🇺🇸 Students had the opportunity to learn about the judicial system, explore the courthouse, and gain real-world insight into how our government works. Most importantly, they had an absolute blast representing our campus while learning outside the classroom! Kaffie hosted Stop Hack Go with students grades 6-12 from around the Coastal Bend. Students had to build a weather station using sensors, code it, collect weather data, develop a proposal for a fiction city's emergency management agency for improvements on current technology.
