Trekking the Tract! 👣 Students in Mr. Benavides’ science class had a blast creating and presenting life-size models of the digestive system to explore the journey of food through the body! Through this hands-on activity, students learned: 🧠 The length of the digestive tract 🍎 The function of each organ ➡️ How food moves through each stage of digestion It was amazing to see their creativity, collaboration, and understanding come to life. During our recent science project, students in Mrs. Alaffa’s 6th grade class explored how Earth’s tilt and revolution around the Sun create the changing seasons 🌎☀️ Through hands-on models and observations, they captured some amazing moments showing how sunlight reaches different parts of Earth throughout the year. These photos highlight their learning as they discovered: ✨ Why some parts of Earth receive more direct sunlight ✨ How Earth’s tilt stays consistent as it revolves around the Sun ✨ How this movement creates the seasonal changes we experience each year We are so proud of how engaged and curious these students were—asking questions, making connections, and truly thinking like real scientists! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬
